Shilajit is currently in the preliminary stages of research in the west, but it appeared to be heralded. There is only one human study conducted that has used 200mg of Shilajit with 50% Fulvic acid content. It has been divided into two doses with meals for 90 days. A dose of 150mg of Shilajit once or twice daily is enough for adults no matter women or men. In women onset of aging is the underlying problem. If you are using good quality Shilajit, 150mg for a healthy person is the perfect dose. If you are a trauma accident patient, take 250mg two times daily. In the case of chronic issues, take 150mg once or twice daily with no cycle necessary. However, the effect of shilajit and the optimal dosage can vary for each person depending upon the body mass, general health, age, and your personal molecular chemistry.

For first-time users, finding your optimal shilajit dosage is a good idea. To do so, start with a small quantity, approx. size of a rice grain and gradually increase the dosage each day up to large pea size (approx. 350 mg) until you feel a difference.

How to consume liquid shilajit

Liquid Shilajit is mixed with any drink except tap water for the best use. Hot milk and ghee are the most recommended ones as they help in better absorption and delivery of adaptogens to the body. You can take it by time in the morning or the day. Following the shilajit dosage above, take it once or twice daily but apart from food.  If you find that Shilajit produces immense energy, then don’t take it in the evening as it may cause sleep difficulty for some people.
