As a vegan consumer, I was very disappointed by the lack of clear and essential information on your product packaging and product page.
Nowhere is it clearly stated whether this product is gelatin-free. This is a serious omission. Gelatin is commonly derived from animal bones, and for people who follow a vegan lifestyle for ethical and health reasons, this is a critical detail — not a minor one.
In the current market, there are many so-called vegetarian or plant-based Omega-3 products — for example, brands like TATA, which use 100% plant-derived oil — but still use gelatin capsules made from animal sources to protect the oil. In many such cases, these brands also fail to clearly state “gelatin-free” on the label. Because of this widespread issue, clear wording is absolutely essential.
In your case, you have not mentioned “gelatin-free” anywhere, and you have also not used a recognized “100% Vegan” logo on the product, the bottle, or the product page. As a result, I am forced to assume that this product may also use gelatin in the capsule, just like many other products in the market that are plant-based in content but not fully vegan in formulation.
If this product is truly vegan, this must be stated explicitly and visibly:
on the nutrition panel, on the front of the product page, and directly on the bottle itself, along with a clear “Gelatin Free” statement and a verified “100% Vegan” logo.
Many vegan consumers, including myself, are willing to pay a premium for verified vegan products. However, in return, we expect full transparency and responsibility from the manufacturer. Proper labeling is not optional — it is part of your credibility and duty to your customers.
I strongly encourage you to improve your labeling and product descriptions so that vegan consumers can make informed and confident purchasing decisions.
